If you haven't watched them yet, you simply must, for they are BRILLIANT! Strange Chemistry Launch Party Giveaway Winner!

So, my contest ended on the 26th, and I completely forgot... Anyway, if you didn't read the post, I went to the launch party for the Strange Chemistry imprint back in August, and they gave me a goody bag containing some swag and a couple of their books to giveaway on my blog! You can read the post and read all about the prize  here . I've picked the winner, randomly using Rafflecopter, of course, and it is: CICELY ! Yay! Thanks to everyone for entering, and I hope to bring you more giveaways in the future! Cicely - if I haven't emailed you/DM-ed you already, I will do soon :)

Strange Chemistry Launch Party!

So, last Thursday, the 23rd August, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Strange Chemistry launch party. I thought I'd write up a little account of what happened there and tell you a little bit about what Strange Chemistry is, if you've not heard of it before! Strange Chemistry is a new exclusively YA imprint of Angry Robot books. They publish all kinds of YA - 'science fiction, fantasy and everything in between' . The first books from the imprint, Shift by Kim Curran and Blackwood by Gwenda Bond are launched in September, with more books coming each month following. Visit their website here to find out more! About the event... I met up with Liz from Planet Print  and we walked around to The British Library, where the event was held. We met Nina from Death, Books and Tea  and lots of other bloggers while we mingled with publicists and authors, chatting about good books and drinking wine, or in my case, water ;P Anyway, once we'd mingled for a while we w...

B&DERM: Wrap-up #4 and UK Giveaway

Hey! The fourth(ish) week of May is now over and it's time for our fourth wrap-up post for Bella & Daph's Epic Review Month! Hopefully you've managed to make a dent in your TBR pile - a bigger one than I have! :)  What I read: I've only read one book in the last two weeks - and that was The Gathering Dark  by Leigh Bardugo (called Shadow and Bone  in the US). I've had my first exams (and they went well, I think) but I've still got revision to do so I probably won't get much else read! But, I have read 60 pages of Fall For Anything  by Courtney Summer, which isn't a review book, but shhh ;P  What have you read this week? Leave a comment below telling us what you read this week and what you thought of it, etc etc! Or, you can write your own wrap-up post and link up in the linky below :)  Written any reviews for books you've read this month? If you have, link them below! They'll make you eligible for a giveaway ;P A couple sentences on Good...

B&DERM: Wrap-up #2 and UK Giveaway

Hello! The first full week of May has gone by, and now it's time for our second Bella & Daph's Epic Review Month weekly wrap up post! We hope you got lots of review book reading done - I did, I think! :) What I read: So since the beginning of May, since I didn't do a wrap-up post for myself last week, I have read three books! I'm pretty proud of that, as I have exams coming up soon and I'm constantly revising (okay, that's more than a little bit of an overstatement - I'm maybe doing an hour and a half a night AND I have school ;P ) and so I have less reading time, but it's going okay. Here's what I've read and what I thought: We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han - A wonderfully lovely ending to an amazing series. Team Conrad!! Black Heart Blue by Louisa Reid - A completely different contemp to the WAHS - and nearly as good. The writing at the beginning was a little slow but the story was incredible and the journey the characters to...

So, I actually have something else scheduled to be posted today, but it's 23:20, I'm tired, and I've just got back from seeing The Hunger Games and not in the mood to write a whole blog post, so I thought I'd put up a giveaway, because I haven't done one for agessss... So, in honour of The Hunger Games movie being released today (you have to see it, ASAP!!), I'm giving away a UK proof copy of Legend by Marie Lu - another fantastic YA dystopian!* *Open to UK RESIDENTS ONLY* The United States is gone, along with its flooded coasts. Happily Ever Endings... A Giveaway! :D

Hey everyone! Amber from Down the Rabbit Hole and myself are the hosts of a (hopefully) awesome new feature called Happily Ever Endings! It was born out of sheer frustration at not being able to remember what happened at the end of one book, just as you are about to start the sequel! It's annoyed me for a long time, so when I heard about this new feature that Amber was putting together, I decided to help out! The idea is, that we post the summary and then we take note of what happens at the end of the book, so you can read it and be refreshed as to what happened! It's the next best thing to rereading, but if you're anything like me you'll have too many books to have time to reread everything, so hopefully this will be of help to you. But, neither me nor Amber can read all the books in the world, so WE NEED YOUR HELP! Does it frustrate you too? If so, go here to find out more about how you can help! And if that isn't enough to tempt you, we're hosting a ...

Guest Post and Giveaway with Tera Lynn Childs

Hi everyone! Welcome to my stop on the Forgive My Fins blog tour! It's my first ever blog tour, and I'm SUPER excited to welcome TERA LYNN CHILDS, author of FORGIVE MY FINS (which by the way is amazing - I gave it 5 FEET! There's a link to my review at the bottom of this post :) )  to Cheezyfeet Books today :D She has so kindly written a guest post for me all about - SUSHI! :) __________ In Disney’s The Little Mermaid , Ariel can talk with the sea life. Flounder is her fishy best friend and Sebastian is her crustacean keeper. Seagulls collect trinkets, eels spy, and there are whole underwater orchestras. In Forgive My Fins , though, mermaids have a very different relationship with their fellow ocean dwellers. Mostly, they eat them. My mermaids are huge sushi fans. Living right there in the ocean they get the very freshest there is, just like eating an apple fresh off the tree. When half-mermaid princess Lily moves onto land to stay with her human aunt, mediocre sushi i...
