Book Blogger Hop #14 and Follow Friday #9

Book Blogger Hop

What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?

My answer: Well, I was really looking forward to The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa, because that series is awesome, and I couldn't wait to read it, but seeing as that has already been published, now I'm probably most anticipating Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I absolutely loved Clockwork Angel, so hopefully Clockwork Prince will be just as good, maybe even better! Cannot wait. =]

What is/was your favourite subject in school?

My answer: I absolutely love Textiles. It's awesome. We're doing a project on shoes at the moment, and it's great. We're designing shoes, and we had to make one of our designs out of paper and masking tape, and let me tell you, making a heel out of paper and masking tape is not easy. But I managed to do it. I also really like History, I love finding about what happened in the past. I like most subjects, but I really don't like PE. I hate anything to do with sports, I'm just too lazy...

I had an idea for a new meme, if you want to find out more, just click here!

  1. Your blog is so cute! I'm waiting for the second and third in a few trilogies to come out this year. I absolutely adore series. I haven't started the Iron Fey or Clockwork Angels series yet, but they are on my TBR list. :)

  4. Loved The Iron Queen! Just read Clockwork Angel and really feel in the middle as to whether I liked it or not. Not sure what I'll do with Clockwork Prince.

Ugh...I hated P.E. too. Luckily because of my leg problems I had a doctor's note not to participate 100%! YAY for Dr.'s notes!!

  7. I hated PE when I was in high school. Ugh. I was so glad I graduated before they made it mandatory for all high school students (usually you were done by 12th grade-senior year).

    Have a good weekend.

  10. Oh, everyone's looking forward to Cassandra Clare's latest. I had to put down The Mortal Instruments because the incest was just grossing me out too much!

I put together a list of books I'm looking forward to about a week ago.

2011 is going to be a great year for books.

I actually majored in theatre with an emphasis costume design for my undergraduate degree. Haven't done any sewing in ages though... my work now is all book related.

Book Review: Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Title: Where She Went Author: Gayle Forman Series: If I Stay #2 Pages: 260 Publisher: Random House Date of UK Publication: April 28th 2011 Source: Borrowed from friend Synopsis from Goodreads: It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever. Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future and each other. Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance. My Thoughts: Where She Went continues the story from If I
