Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.
But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal. - from Goodreads.com
There was so much about this novel that I loved. I loved the characters, the world that Kiersten White has created, and the writing style. Basically, everything about it was awesome.
First, I loved Evie. I knew from the first chapter that I would really enjoy reading about her. Her voice was just how you'd imagine a teenager would write a book, and I couldn't stop reading. She was strong and independent, and the kind of character you could quite happily be best friends with. She's everything that you would want a teenager to be, sarcastic, funny, and just down right likeable.
The book was action-packed and full of suspense, keeping you turning pages and always on the edge of your seat. The emotions of the characters were easy to feel, and you couldn't help but feel their pain, or their happiness. The book was just a fun, original story, and I loved it. I recommend it to everyone!

I give it 5 feet!
Hi Bella, Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked PARANORMALCY too! And wouldn't Evie be a great real-life friend? If nothing else, maybe she'd let us borrow that pink dress of hers :D
This sounds so fun! Haven't read it yet but I already love Evie. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteGreat review! I love Paranormalcy so much! Evie is awesome! I want my own Tasey though. I don't think Evie would be too happy with that ;p
