Stylish Blogger Award!

Sara at Just Another Story and Shannon at Stalking the Bookshelves have both awarded me The Stylish Blogger Award! Thank you so much, it's awesome =]

There are rules that you have to follow once you have been awarded:

1. Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to them in your post.
2. Tell us 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 15 bloggers you think deserve the prize, that you recently discovered.
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them they've received the award!

So, the 7 random things about me:

1. I have an obsession with high heels. I love them. They're awesome. I don't actually own any, as this is a recent obsession, but I have my eye on a pair in Topshop that I absolutely adore....

2. I also have a small obsession with grammar. Everything has to be spelt right and be grammatically correct. I still make mistakes though :L

3. I don't like hot countries. I don't like feeling too hot, and not being able to cool down.

4. I love Taylor Swift, and am going to see her in concert in March, and I cannot wait! I'm listening to Better Than Revenge from Speak Now right now.

5. I go through phases of playing Facebook games religiously. Yes, I used to be a FarmVille-er. But now it's all about CityVille :L

6. I have never seen a Star Wars film all the way through.

7. I have a Facebook YA Books page, maybe you could have a look? =]

The 15 Bloggers I'm awarding this to:
1. Small Review
2. The Paperback Princesses
3. YA Bookie Monster
4. What's Your Story?
5. The Garden of Books
6. The Book Pixie
7. Cicely Loves Books
8. Eating YA Books
9. Dog-Eared & Bookmarked
10. Emilie's Book World
11. Erika Breathes Books
12. Fragments of Life
13. I Live In a Fictional World
14. In The Hammock Book Reviews

There are so many other great blogs out there, and I wish I could choose everyone! I really think you should all go and check out all the blogs listed above, as they are all worthy winners, in my opinion =]

  1. Thank you and congrats! I always look at all the books on your header and I, of course, love your pink background so I think your award is very well deserved. :)

I don't like hot places either.

  2. Thanks so much for the award, Bella, but I hate to tell you that we (The Paperback Princesses) are an award free blog. We just don't have the time to do them justice. A comment on our blog as you're passing through is more than enough award for us. But we really do appreciate the thought. Tell me, do you correct other people's grammar as well. Unfortunately, I do all the time - terrible habit.

  4. Hi Bella, thank you so much for passing the award on to me! I'm so glad you enjoy reading my blog :) I love Taylor Swift too! I wanted to catch her on tour, but unfortunately, tickets were sold out just a week after the selling started :( Have fun in her concert, though! I'm sure it'll be awesome.

*I am no longer accepting blog awards :( I do not have time to go through all the things that come with it, and though I'm honoured you thought of me, I'm sure you can find someone who will love it, and be able to carry out the rules :)

Book Review: Insight by Jamie Magee

Title: Insight Author: Jamie Magee Series: Insight #1 Pages: 314 Date of UK Publications: July 20th 2010 Source: Received free for a blog tour/event Synopsis from Goodreads: Before that fateful summer night, Willow had balanced the insight of emotion, and the vivid images. That night, the figure in her nightmare marked her wrist with a star, giving her father no choice but to tell Willow a family secret that would abruptly change life, as she knew it, forever. Before Willow had time to absorb the shock of her father's secret, her soul mate that had shared every stunning dream with her, found her, and darkness captured her closest friends. In order to save them, she must weave through broken myths and the undeniable power of the Zodiac. In the end, Willow discovers that at the moment of our birth we are all given a divine gift. My Thoughts: Insight was a good book. The plot was well thought out, and the characters were complex and real. It was a strong debut novel,
