It's time for Book of the Week again. Sorry I didn't do one last week, I just seemed to have forgotten... Ah well. Never mind. I chose a really great book this week, so hopefully that makes up for it. =]
Title: City of Bones
Author: Cassandra Clare
Publication Date: July 2007
When I Read It: March 2010
Synopsis: Sixteen-year-old Clary Fray is an ordinary teenager, who likes hanging out in Brooklyn with her friends. But everything changes the night she witnesses a murder, committed by a group of teens armed with medieval weaponry. The murderous group are Shadowhunters, secret warriors dedicated to driving demons out of this dimension and back into their own. Drawn inexorably into a terrifying world, Clary slowly begins to learn the truth about her family - and the battle for the fate of the world. - from amazon.co.uk
Recommended if: You love a good paranormal romance, you love action packed books, or you've read Clockwork Angel, also by Cassandra Clare, and loved it.
Ages: 13+
Why I Loved It: Because it's full of action and is an awesome pageturner, and I absolutely adore Jace!
My Review: http://cheezyfeetbooks.blogspot.com/2010/07/city-of-bones-cassandra-clare.html
Why It's Book of the Week: Because it's awesome, and why not?
