Book Blogger Hop #15 and Follow Friday #10

Book Blogger Hop

What are you reading now and why are you reading it?

My answer: I'm reading Angel by LA Weatherly, because my friend wouldn't shut up about it :L But, she was right to go on about how good it was, it is awesome! I'm also reading The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell, which I got as an e-book from NetGalley, but because I have to read it on the computer, I can only read a little bit of it at a time otherwise my eyes go funny. It's good though =]

What is the book you are currently 'pushing'?

My answer: I've never heard the term 'pushing' before... Anyway, at the moment, I'm trying to get all my friends to read The Iron King by Julie Kagawa, because it just came out in the UK and now they can get it from Waterstones, and don't have to go online to get it. Which is cheaper and easier... So anyway, I'm trying to get them to read that, but they won't! It's tragic... :L

  3. Hi Bella! I'm reading two books: Middlemarch by George Eliot and Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I've been reading a few chapters of Middlemarch between lighter reads, and have nearly finished. I've been reading this for months now; it'll be weird when I reach the end.

  10. I just finished The Iron King yesterday, and I really liked it. I knew I didn't want to start it until The Iron Queen was out because I really hate getting into something then having to wait for the next installment.

The Vespertine in next on my list, hope you enjoy.

  13. Just hopping by on my first blog hop :) I just got back into the world of reading and need all the suggestions I can get.

I'm reading Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs. A friend of mine suggested I read her Mercy Thompson series, and I absolutely loved it. So I assumed her Alpha and Omega series would be just as good, and it most definitely is. Briggs is my new favorite author.

I'm currently pushing Good Omens: The Life and Times of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaimen & Terry Prachett. I picked up this book for my dad at a little eclectic book shop, and he absolutely loved it. I'm reading this one next.

Although I don't have many reviews yet, check out my blog. I'm desperate for followers!

Book Review: Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Title: Where She Went Author: Gayle Forman Series: If I Stay #2 Pages: 260 Publisher: Random House Date of UK Publication: April 28th 2011 Source: Borrowed from friend Synopsis from Goodreads: It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever. Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future and each other. Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance. My Thoughts: Where She Went continues the story from If I
