Summer is coming quickly - what 2011 summer release are most looking forward to? 

My answer: Oh, I have no idea, there are a few... I'm really looking forward to Bloodlines by Richelle Mead, that looks awesome, and I can't wait to return to the world of Rose and Dimitri, even though they probably won't be in it much, if at all :(

Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?

My answer: Oh my word, this question is HARD! I would take:

Divergent by Veronica Roth
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (all three books)
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa (all three books)
City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

I think maybe that is what I would take. I have no idea though, I hope never to be in that situation! :L

Stand Alone vs. Series: What's your stance? 

My answer: I love series. I love how when I finish one book in a series, I know that the story will be continued in another book, and that I will get to return to the world and the characters that the author has written. Although, sometimes with series, such as the House of Night series by PC and Kristin Cast, if they are long they can drag on a bit, and sometimes when reading you get the feeling that they are not written for the readers anymore, they are written for the money. They are still good, but not as good as they once were. I do enjoy standalones though, I like that once I've read one, I don't have to wait at a cliffhanger, or wait for another book, I can just finish it, and be happy with it :)

    It would be a horrible situation! Not only with the dystopian theme, but really 10 books?! Doesn't anyone understand us bibliophiles?

    I like these 2 questions together... I haven't heard of Bloodlines, but based on the books you would take into the shelter (and the fact I love them) I may have to look into it!

    I cheated. I didn't count series as separate books so I'm sure I actually had over 20 books.
