February 2013 Wrap Up

Hello and welcome to my wrap up for February! I've done really badly this month. I guess it's the shortest month of the year so that's my excuse. A crappy one, I know... Anyway. Here's what I read in February!

The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines, #3)  Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2)  The Hanged Man Rises

1. The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead
2. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
3. The Hanged Man Rises by Sarah Naughton
4. The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson (reread) (link to old review)

I really enjoyed The Indigo Spell and just like the previous book in the Bloodlines series, The Golden Lily, it ended on a huge cliffhanger that's left me needing book four now! Scarlet was really good, although not quite as good as Cinder I really enjoyed it. It took me two weeks though, not sure what happened there. The Hanged Man Rises was really good, and I have a guest post from the author here, as well as my review which is linked above. Lastly, I'm rereading The Name of the Star because I've forgotten everything that happens at the end and I'm going to read The Madness Underneath next. I can't wait - these books are so awesome and YOU REALLY HAVE TO READ THEM. So obviously, my favourite book of the month is:

THE NAME OF THE STAR by Maureen Johnson

The Name of the Star (Shades of London, #1)

Number of pages read this month: 1504
Average number of pages per book: 376

Here's what I'm looking forward to reading in March:

The Madness Underneath (Shades of London, #2)  Requiem (Delirium, #3)  Zom-B City (Zom-B, #3)

And here are some other books that are being released in the UK in March!

Hidden (Guardians of Time, #1)
    Girl of Nightmares (Anna, #2)

I also thought I would mention that I have a guest post from Sarah Naughton, author of The Hanged Man Rises, talking about what she thinks of ghosts. I also wrote a review of the book here, and both of them need comments... If you have time, I'd really appreciate it!

Also, lastly, I was interviewed today by the awesome Lucy from Queen of Contemporary, so if you'd like to check that out here's the link!

What have you read this month? Did you like it, did you not? What are you looking forward to reading next month? Let me know in the comments!

REQUIEM!! It's not one of my favourite series, but I'd love to know how it ends. I really want to read The Hanged Man Rises and the first of the Tom Clempson books. Hope March reading will be good!

  3. I've read 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson (it was a few years ago) and enjoyed it and so I'm really hoping to read more by her soon. I'm glad you liked it! :)

  4. Great books, Bella! I have The Name of the Star and Hidden on my TBR pile, they both sound amazing. I really want to read Requiem! :)

I am currently reading Hidden Among Us and it is... okay :P It still has potential for a good ending so I'm hanging on to it. I have Anna Dressed in Blood on my TBR pile and it looks great, so enjoy Girl of Nightmares.
    Happy reading :)

PS. I found your blog through your interview with Lucy! :) I am also a Nerdfighter and fan of Four and Augustus - YAY :D

  5. It isn't always about the amount of books you read, as long as you enjoy the ones you've read, right? :D

*I am no longer accepting blog awards :( I do not have time to go through all the things that come with it, and though I'm honoured you thought of me, I'm sure you can find someone who will love it, and be able to carry out the rules :)
