Letterbox Love #5

Hey! It's half term so I've got a week off exams so I'm hoping to post a couple of times this week, but we'll see how that goes! I thought I'd do a Letterbox Love as I've not done one for ages, and it'll give me a little bit of time to write a review for you guys, because I owe you one (at least!) ;) so, here's what I've received recently!

Gloss by Marilyn Kaye (Macmillan Children's Books, 6th June 2013)
I'm really excited to read this one, it sounds great! I love historical New York-y fashion-y kind of things, if that makes sense (like, Flappers are awesome and I love Gossip Girl (which I know's not historical but whatever :P )) so I'm really looking forward to this one. Thanks Macmillan!

Spy for the Queen of Scots by Theresa Breslin (Corgi, paperback release: 6th June 2013)
I'd not heard of this before I received it, however I do like a good historical like this now and then so if I have time and it takes my fancy, I'll give it a go. Thank you to Random House for this!

Spy Society by Robin Benway (Simon and Schuster Children's Books, 18th July 2013)
AHHH you guys I am SO excited for this one! I'm on the blog tour in July so you'll be hearing a lot more about this one from me, but I definitely cannot wait to read this one. I'm saving it for a treat once I've finished my final exam, I think, if I can wait that long (we'll see ;) ) Thanks Simon and Schuster!

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas (Simon and Schuster Children's Books, 18th July 2013)
Another one from S&S that I'm very excited about! I was very lucky to receive a US proof of this one so I'm very excited to read this one, so look out for a review closer to release! Thanks again S&S!

Angelfall by Susan Ee (Hodder, available now)
Thanks so much for this Hodder, this sounds pretty good so if I've got time I'll give it a read :)

Lockwood & Co by Jonathon Stroud (Doubleday, 29th August 2013)
Not heard of this one until I received it, again, but it actually sounds really good and the letter that came with it that kind of acts like a press release made it sound really good! Looking forward to giving this one a read, although I still don't really know that much about it! Thanks Random House :)

Severed Heads, Broken Hearts by Robyn Schneider (Simon & Schuster Children's Books, 15th August 2013)
I'm SO EXCITED for this one! I've only heard good things so far and it's been compared to John Green so how could I not want to read it?! Thanks Simon & Schuster!

Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer (Hodder, 25th June 2013)
I already have a hardcover copy of this one, and I still haven't read it but it sounds quite good so maybe I'll give it a read sometime over summer. Thanks to Hodder for this one!

Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick (Indigo, released)
I got this at a school event that I attended in April, and it was really great. Marcus is super cool and I'm definitely looking forward to giving this a read!

Nowhere by Jon Robinson (Puffin, 4th July 2013)
This one sounds really interesting and I haven't read a thriller for a long time so I'm excited! Thanks for Puffin for this one.

Goddess by Josephine Angelini (Macmillan Children's Books, released)
EEEP! Not much I need to say about this one, I don't think, just that I'm excited and I can't wait to find out how it ends! Thanks to Macmillan for this one.

Invisibility by Andrea Cremer and David Levithan (Penguin, released)
I'm halfway through this one now and I'm really enjoying it. It's very weird and I'm still getting my head around the fact that it's about an invisible boy, but more plot points are being introduced and I'm getting used to it and it's really, really good. Thanks Penguin!

You Don't Know Me by Sophie Bennett (Chicken House, released)
This one looks good and I've only heard good things about Sophia's other book, The Look, so I'm looking forward to giving this a read, probably over the summer. Thanks Chicken House!

The School for Good and Evil  After Eden (After Eden, #1)

The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani (HarperCollins Children's Books, 6th June 2013)
This one sounds really fun and I love the cover. I'm very excited to give this a read! Thanks to HarperCollins and NetGalley for this.

After Eden by Helen Douglas (Bloomsbury, 4th July 2013)
I read this one on the plane back from my holiday to Sicily in the Easter holidays, and it was okay. I liked it, but there were quite a lot of things that I found unbelievable or strange. It's about time travel though and I do love books about time travel! Look out for my review soon. Thanks to Bloomsbury and NetGalley for this.

Thanks for reading! Which of these do you think I should read first, or have you read any that are good? Let me know in the comments box below and also feel free to leave me a link to your Letterbox Loves or In My Mailboxes.

Happy reading!

Book Review: Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Title: Where She Went Author: Gayle Forman Series: If I Stay #2 Pages: 260 Publisher: Random House Date of UK Publication: April 28th 2011 Source: Borrowed from friend Synopsis from Goodreads: It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
