Book of the Week #3

This week has gone so fast... Anyway, it's time for another Book of the Week! =]

Every week, I will post a book of the week. I think you should read it. It might be new, it might be really old. It doesn't matter. It will just be a book, that I have read, and think you should read. =]

This week, I have chosen:

Title: Beastly
Author: Alex Flinn
Publication Date: December 2008
When I Read It: July 2010

A beast. Not quite wolf or bear, gorilla or dog but a horrible new creature who walks upright—a creature with fangs and claws and hair springing from every pore. I am a monster.
You think I'm talking fairy tales? No way. The place is New York City. The time is now. It's no deformity, no disease. And I'll stay this way forever—ruined—unless I can break the spell.
Yes, the spell, the one the witch in my English class cast on me. Why did she turn me into a beast who hides by day and prowls by night? I'll tell you. I'll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and the perfect life. And then, I'll tell you how I became perfectly . . . beastly. - From

Recommended if: You have an obsession with YA Paranormal Romance, you love fairy tales, and you can't wait for the film!
Ages: 13+
Why I Loved It: It was the first retelling of a fairy tale I'd ever read, and it was amazing. It was fun and quick, a really good read.
Why It's Book of the Week:  Because Beastly the film is being released soon. (Well, not that soon...)

*I am no longer accepting blog awards :( I do not have time to go through all the things that come with it, and though I'm honoured you thought of me, I'm sure you can find someone who will love it, and be able to carry out the rules :)
