What book influenced or changed your life? How did it influence/change you?

My answer: Well, no book has really changed my life... I suppose, and I'm not shamed to say it, that Twilight by Stephenie Meyer sort of influenced my life, because when I first read it, it inspired me to read more, and because I read Twilight, I've discovered so many more great books, full of awesome characters and exciting plots. It's not that I didn't read before that, because I did, but not as much. So, in that way, Twilight influenced me, but didn't really change my life... But then again, if I hadn't read it, I wouldn't have made this blog, and wouldn't have met all you awesome people out there! So I'm glad I did. =]

What book(s) have you discovered lately from someone's book blog? 

My answer: Ooh, there are so many answers to that question... I've been reading people's 2011 Debut Author Challenge posts, and finding all the books on their lists, and so now I've got some great books to buy that are by debut authors this year, and I'm so excited to read them! There are too many books and blogs to list though :L

    Well at least you're not ashamed to admit it! My book goes back a couple more years when I read it in 2001! Oh lord, that was 10 years ago?!

    I have a similar answer to yours. Although, Twilight did actually get me to read because I read very rarely before I read Twilight. :)

    This will probably come of something as a surprise but the book that changed/influenced my life (more than any other) is a non-fiction book. I know we all focus on novels and the fanciful fiction we love to read but The Four Work Week is the book that gets all the credit. I know the title sounds fictional but it really isn’t.     I chose Twilight, too! It was one of the first books where I interacted with others, complete strangers, on various plot points. It brought in a whole new element to reading.

It's Friday again, so time for the Book Blogger Hop and the Follow Friday! What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?  My answer: I didn't really enjoy Fallen by Lauren Kate very much, and I'm not sure why, I just didn't. Anyway, I wasn't really sure how to post my review, but I ended up saying why I didn't like it, but also all the parts I thought were good. I always try and post my honest opinion, and if I didn't like a particular book, I will try and say so in the nicest way possible, saying what the good bits were too. My answer: My favourite place to read is in the corner of our corner sofa in the living room, when my brother is playing the Xbox, because then, I can block out the sounds of him blowing things up and just get lost in a book.
