Book Blogger Hop #11 and Follow Friday #6

It's time again for the Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday. I say that every week, and I think it's a little cheesy... Oh well. I like cheese!

Book Blogger Hop

What is the thing you like most about reading book blogs? Is it the reviews, author guest posts, giveaways, or something else entirely?

My answer: I really like the reviews, as it adds to my ever growing list of books I need to read, but I like everything about book blogs really! I like memes too, like Teaser Tuesday and Waiting on Wednesday, and of course the Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday! I just love book blogs, and I love it when you can read a post that someone has done, and you can tell what kind of person wrote it. =]

Do you have an under-noticed author that you think we should all know about?

My answer: Well, having just read Knight Angels: Book of Love by Abra Ebner, I'm going to have to say her. She's a self-published author, and I think that her books are awesome! You should definitely go and buy them, and they're cheap for Kindle readers! You can read my review of Book of Love here.

What's happened at Cheezyfeet Books this week?

Also, I'd like to say a big thank you to Lulu @ The Book Addict, for giving me The Versatile Blogger award. I'm honored! I've already received it, so I didn't carry out the rules, but it still means a lot! So thank you =]

  1. Hello my dear.

I enjoy reading the reviews of books that I want to read and of books I have never heard of.

The Mad Scientist thinks that there are many Indie Authors out there that are just not appreciated. My very unlooking Igor has created a badge for me, us to use when we create Indie Author Reviews.

  2. I also like that you can tell what kind of a person the blogger is by the way they write or review a book.

  3. I think reviews are my favourite part of a person's blog because I get to know the reviewer through their thought processes. It's fun, and it gives me a fresh take on books, too!

    Happy Friday! :)

  6. Hopping by :) I agree with you, I like it when I get a feel for the person behind the review.

I didn't realize that book was self-published! Good for her for getting her name out there. I've seen that book around a lot.

*I am no longer accepting blog awards :( I do not have time to go through all the things that come with it, and though I'm honoured you thought of me, I'm sure you can find someone who will love it, and be able to carry out the rules :)

Book Review: Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Title: Where She Went Author: Gayle Forman Series: If I Stay #2 Pages: 260 Publisher: Random House Date of UK Publication: April 28th 2011 Source: Borrowed from friend Synopsis from Goodreads: It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever. Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future and each other. Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance. My Thoughts: Where She Went continues the story from If I
